On Trolley Tour night when all the galleries are opened we had a group who sat out front of our gallery and played gentle songs for whatever was thrown their way.
I enjoyed the entertainment...and also thought it would make a nice compostion.
Ok so I had this crazy idea to gesso my next two canvases with black gesso. It has taken layer after layer after layer to get any color picked up at all.
It has been an interesting process, but when you have a deadline to meet...not such a good idea.
It is coming together and this one needs the last
minute fine tune to detail.
It is not as exciting in the high key colors that I like to use but it does have some interesting tones.

they love color,
she loves circles, softness and drama
he loves architectural details and transparency
trying to blend the two but have a good way to go in achieveing this.
right now I am thinking it is just too round....
will continue on and see where the painting leads me.
