These walking sticks were made in Texas. Most are made from Texas wood: mesquite, oak, pecan, cedar. They have various shapes and designs. some were designed by NATURE and the forms were left as they were, with just a little help in the finishing polish. Others needed to be tweeked a little and have designs carved in to the wood. Some of my favorites are the challias, the Irish term for a walking stick with a Druid face carved into the stem..........all can be seen in the gallery annex.
