Artist Biography:
Joan is a self taught artist and has been painting professionally for 7 years. She has won numerous awards and has her artwork in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Japan and Australia.
Ms. Bernard loves to paint in various styles,, the most prominent being native American Spirit paintings. She also paints Dream Images, landscapes and abstracts. She recently diversified into collage mixed media and fine stone jewelry .
Ms Bernard is a member of Artist Link a Memphis Area Visual Artists League and was on the board as Vice-President 2000-2001 and President 2001-2003. She has been involved as Cochairman Exhibitions Committee with Artist Link until the present date.
Ms Bernard is also a member of Delta Artist Society and was President 2001-2003 and a Member of the Memphis Germantown Art League 2001 until present.
